as well as new skylights at the center of the wing. New floor and

The
Construction Process:
The renovation
is being conducted while the building is occupied; however, all
work in the public spaces is being conducted at night from about
9 p.m. to 5 a.m. working with the airline flight schedules to minimize
impacts.
The suspended
ceiling system has been removed in order to accomplish the demolition
and installation of the new mechanical and electrical systems.
The spray-on
fireproofing material exposed during construction is harmless.
The Contractor
has been utilizing dust minimizing techniques during the work that
include protection of carpet, chairs, gate podia and containment
of demolition areas with plastic using abatement grade hepa filters.
After the work is complete each night, the areas are vacuumed and
wiped down ready for the start of the business day.
Testing:
Nuisance
dust monitoring has been conducted. The most recent Environmental
Engineering reports conclude that, based on the data collected on
both Airside Terminals,the dust level is well below the
